Start a room

A comedy writing game. Everyone answers prompts on their phone, then the answers battle in pairs while the rest of the room votes.

Setup

  1. Start a Punchline room. You need at least 3 players.

How to play

  1. Writing: you get two prompts and 90 seconds. Type the funniest answer you can.
  2. Face-offs: each prompt shows with the two answers written for it, with no names shown.
  3. Everyone except the two writers votes for their favourite.
  4. The reveal shows the split, who wrote what, and the points.
  5. There are two rounds, and round two scores double.

Rules

Scoring
100 points per vote (200 in round two). Taking every vote is a clean sweep, worth a bonus.
No answer
If you run out of time your answer shows as '(no answer)' and scores nothing.
